According to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics and ABC News, the three most expensive airports in the United States to fly through are:
    • Memphis MEM
    • Huntsville HSV
    • Cincinnati CVG

The average price to travel through Cincinnati is currently $488.00.

Lately it seems like everywhere is expensive to fly domestically! Looking at DFW to LAS and it was nearly $500. Yikes:confused:

I look at OKC as an alternative to DFW because I live between both cities. Still I cannot find any relief!

I have family around OKC, TUL, and XNA. They are almost always at least $500. I usually end up going to DFW.

Yeah, and we don't even have a past history of being a former Delta hub.

Once AirTran decamps this August, HSV should regain its former title of the most expensive airport.

Which is exactly why I leaped on an SFO-BDA round trip price of $540.

I agree HSV isn't cheap, but BHM seems worse!

Don't worry, it's not too bad of a drive to BHM and ATL (since I have a feeling that BHM may have a major reduction in service when ATL is fully converted to WN

I just checked prices for a trip from Cincinnati to Madison, WI at the end of August. Cost? Over $1,500 for a non stop. At least when CVG was a Delta hub there was a good amount of flights available. Now it's just a joke.
