IHG® Special is back, bigger and better than ever before. And because you’re an IHG® Rewards Club member you’ll enjoy an additional 10% extra savings - up to 35% - when you stay at any participating InterContinental®, Crowne Plaza®, Holiday Inn® and Holiday Inn Express® Hotels and Resorts in Asia (excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), the Middle East and Africa.

To make your dream holiday a reality, book before 30 September 2014 for stays till 31 December 2014.

This seems to be offered in a very limited way. Only saw it in Holiday Inn Atrium in my Singapore search.

I received this offer and like the majority of these targeted IHG mailers, it has a hollow ring to it

if you have any sort of corporate discount these offers have little value

the best thing about the offer you noted is that there is no pre-pay

it's still a good deal for this hotel then, as the usual Advance Purchase rate is higher ;)

and i know this is one of WilliamQ's staycation choices

Right, it is an advance payment and they just add breakfast because in ICs in the Middle East, the difference between normal Adv payment and IHG exclusive members is simply 1 or 2 dollars. Very confusing and not at all so attractive...

Best Flexible Rate & Deals is the title

dumb of me to think it was actually a flex rate

I used to book advance pay rates but after one 'no show' I lost all of what I saved

might be worth considering for mattress runs to maintain/gain status since this promo covers stays to be completed by 31 Dec 14.

Yup. Any idea if it is possible to get upgraded to a suite if I book executive room?

I suggest that you can write to the hotel and query if you are a Platinum member, and if you are celebrating a special occasion, the hotel has a Guest Experience Manager that replied to me on my previous stay, to upgrade to a suite as we were celebrating a birthday

Yup. I will probably do that.
It would be my birthday celebration.
    Multiple celebrations in fact.
Oct 22nd, Oct 27th and Nov 18th. Primarily for the November baby (me) really. :)
Our birthdays in the family are closed together.
What room type did you booked?
Was it Superior, Deluxe or Executive?

worth a try. i explained it was a double birthday celebration for my dad (one room) and my wife (one room) who were celebrating belated birthdays, and both myself and wife were Platinum members, having said that it was still very generous of the hotel to upgrade both our rooms booked on points to suites..

    good luck !
