While the new 777 interiors got a lot of attention, AA also revealed the next partner to go live with online booking: British Airways by the end of Q1.

They also hinted at who would be next.....

Would AA be willing to start a pilot Miles + Cash option as well?

Interesting that BA is next but Iberia isn't on the list. I'd guess that IAG has further integration of it's own before that is a possiblity.

At the end of the presentation they did some polling of the MegaDO audience and one of the questions asked what we'd like to see and gave some choices, one of which was a miles & cash option. It was the clear front runner in our group of respondents.

So nothing solid, but it's at least on their minds.

Qantas will be an enormous help, given the availability discrepancies between what you see on their website and what AA can see.

Would also be great to see what the taxes would be for each chosen itin before we have to go to the last screen to purchase. So say there is a LAX-LHR flight as on option on BA and AA, right next to the flights, be an area that shows taxes and surcharges for each carrier. Otherwise, I would have to go all the way to the end like now, to check taxes.

And give access to CX F tickets to those who've forever thought using AA miles to HKG was impossible?! ;)

    Kidding.

It would be nice to be able to have some control over routing as well (e.g., I only want to fly from LAX-LHR, not LAX-JFk-LHR).

However, being able to see BA availability will be nice. Although, part of me hates to see any of this become easier, since that also means less available (as some seats are now grabbed by others who formerly didn't know how).
