    SFO
I'm on the east coast on the 12th and not due back to SFO until 7pm. I'll try to standby for earlier flights and get to the Hyatt in early afternoon if possible. Confirm me for the 13th.

Hyatt SFO has a $107 3A breakfast rate on the 12th for those looking to overnight there. I've just booked to save the drive home and back. Can cancel up to 24 hours out.

I'll be in L.A. that weekend. Already have plans for Sat. and Sun...would you prefer people to attend all 3 days or is it alright to go to the kickoff only?

I'm planning to be in LA that weekend as well. Has the host hotel been identified yet?

As I live in Seattle, I will likely stop by and say hi to the folks who are busy there. Depending on my real job I will even help provide more content for the site.

Thanks all. Host hotel in Seattle has now been confirmed. Hyatt Bellevue. For people staying over night, a good rate will be posted on Monday. Anyone know a good place to meet up for drinks Friday close to the hotel?

There are several places very close to the hotel for drinks and stuff. There is Joey's just downstairs from the Hyatt that is a bar/restraunt. There is Paddy Coynes which is an Irish Pub across the street in Lincoln Square. Small, but fun. There is a new place that just opened (last friday) up in Bellevue Square (diagonal from the hotel) called Munch Bar and Piano Bash. It looks very interesting (link from local coverage). There is also a billiards place and a bowling alley bar that is more upscale in Lincoln square as well. Let me know if you want me to try and block some space at one of them.

I'd like to go, but the airfare on short notice OGG-SFO is running more than $800. I guess I should check LAX and SEA as well.

If I can't go, I can certainly do some "content building" on my own.

Sadly, I can't make the SFO meeting on the 12th as I'm "running away" (will wave from the airport [IMG]) but I look forward to what folks will report back on.

    Sounds good!
I will be MRing 2/12 but should be able to make it to the 2/13 Hyatt SFO session, as long as I don't get a bump. [IMG]

Unfortunately, I will be flying to SJU on the 11th to go on a Caribbean cruise, so I won't be able to make the LA gathering. I'm totally bummed out that I have to miss it, I'm sure it will be a very productive weekend (at least during those times when everyone is sober :D).

And by any chance, if anybody is flying into LAX on Friday night, and will be in Terminal 1, I will be in the US Airways Club from about 9PM-10PM.

I'm doing an MR to SFO on Feb 12, but alas I'll only have about 2 hours before turning back around to the right coast. :( Will look forward to hearing about the ideas that come out of the meetings!

While the gatherings on the east coast are filling up nicely, the short notice for the west coast event this following weekend looks to be problematic.

Please spread help us spread the word if you know anyone who live in these cities or are traveling to these cities next weekend.

PS! You don't have to commit to the entire weekend.

If you need to push SFO back, I'm around right now every weekend in March, but gone the last two weeks of February. I think what you're seeing is that a lot of Bay Area FTers have jumped on sale fares and blocked lots of weekend travel (AA had $150 DCA fares and UA had MIA fares as low as $128 from SFO).
