Lets try it out....like me!
You're too much
Do we have an answer to this q?
It might be the OP by Karung99 in the original like-a-thon IWTBL thread, IIRC 63 likes the last time I checked.
Any ideas what the record is in the "content" threads?
But what is the actual number of likes given on one post?
My best guess is 63 for the OP in IWTBL.
However, I can't find Randy's announcement of the ipad giveaways. If that one could be liked, it might well have been liked a lot. Can we like announcements?
Yes. I like some of his ipad giveaway announcements, so I know you can.
I just went into beta and liked the OP in IWTBL, which I apparently never did. So now it has 64 likes.
Does anyone know of a post with more than 64 likes? (Randy's welcome back in beta only got 30-something likes.)
A like for you Points
Another data point: the OP in the new OnPoint forum for announcements has 23 likes so far.
This is odd. Is there a way to rank posts by likes? There is always the total posts divided by total likes to give a ratio, but I'm curious. Please like me a lot for this post so i can surpass my personal best! I'll like you back ever so much.
Presumably more likes mean more likeable posts, so that any way to associate a higher number to ones with more likes would work. I don't think we mean to say that if one post has two likes and another one has four, the second is twice as good as the first.
You, esteemed madam, are Gold, so we must acknowledge your most excellent accomplishment.
I think the gold has gone to her head
put my error down to incipient senility.
Did some editing happen while I wasn't looking?
....and people complain about the quest for Gold status?
Musing about the number of likes to a post.
Yes I did, but I admitted it too. I try to correct my mistakes, particularly the ones that might insult somebody, even more so for the very prolific and accomplished MSPEconomist.
And I like all your posts, more so when they involve machinery of some kind.
Just what did you edit out that could have been insulting? I find it hard to believe that you would have posted anything offensive.
I posted #15 as "sir" in a fit of amnesia. Sorry! Luckily ACMM caught it before you did!
I would not have been mad to have been addressed as sir. However, I'm not sure we need to be so formal here, unless there's someone among us with an official title from the Queen of England.
