I just returned from a 5 night stay at the SA Riverwalk. I found this hotel lacking in several respects. The absolute worst internet access I have experienced in many years. Extremely slow (think dial up), several service outages and constant dropping of the connection. Reservation preferences were completely ignored. Upgrade request rejected offhand by front desk. Request for view room was acknowledged at check-in but I found once I reached my room it had been ignored. Very poor service in the lobby bar. On the plus side the CL was well stocked and the people on duty were always very nice. I would not stay here again, I'd go across the street to the newer RiverPlace Marriott.
