Is there anyone using the Marriott Premium Credit Card? If so are you happy with it?
Are you referring to the Premier Card, the one that offers a 50- 70K point sign up bonus. If so, I do use it but only for Marriott stays. The sign up bonus, the free cat 1-4 stay and the cat 1-5 stay on renewal makes it well worth the annual fee. As far as daily use, absolutely not. The Starwood Amex blows it away.
Ditto on most of that.
I cancel before the annual fee, and re-apply later.
I just got approved for the Premier card. Completely agree with above in that the renewal fee for the free cat 1-5 stay is worth it and that I plan on primarily using it for the sign up bonuses and then for Marriott stays.
I feel the same way. I only use it for my Marriott stays and the annual free category 1-5 stay more than covers the annual fee.
sounds like a plan!
Agree with using MR CC for Marriott spend exclusively. Likewise, I use PC CC for IHG spend, AmEx PL for Costco, lounge access and some additional benefits, and C1 Venture for everything else.
I recently got and have used the Marriott Rewards Premier signature by Chase. I am very happy with it. No foreign transaction fees and a 50000 points sign-up. For every 3000$ you get one 1 night stay credited to your Marriott account.
Yes I use my Marriott card exclusively for Marriott program stays and foreign transactions where MANY other cards still charge 2.7% - 3 % foreign transaction fees. I used my sign-up miles at the Marriott in Seoul. 2 nights @ 25000 miles = 50000 Miles. Got upgrade to Club floor and privileges. GREAT!
And when u reapply do u get the sign up bonus a 2nd time?--- have u done this? or is just ur thinking of doing
Yes, in my experience, you do get the bonus points, but you don't get the free night certificate when you reapply.
This may be harder now that chase tracks everything. You may be able to get the lower level card since it is different.
when was the last time u got the 2nd bonus ?
I applied and was approved for my second card in August of 2011. The bonus was credited shortly thereafter.
