Marriott says it plans to integrate the Delta hotels into its systems, loyalty program and website.
Fascinating news, a giant just got a whole lot bigger in Canada. Having observed Marriott for a few years now, they might expand Delta Hotels in the future beyond Canada, as the same happened or happens with AC Hotels and Protea Hotels. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic....once again we have a Marriott in Whistler, BC!
Ha. that was my same thought when I read the title
Maybe they can get a corporate contract with Target, oh oops. Sorry.
Hey a better headline for this post would have been "Marriott to buy Delta !! " that would have gotten more traffic
Will Delta Hotels become a new Marriott brand? Or will these hotels be shoehorned into other Marriott family brands?
The only positive is more place to use points, though unfortunately i don't go to Canada very much nor use Marriott points.
Maybe soon enough someone will buy Scandic so Club Carlson has some competition in Scandinavia
I really like this move. I think it's better to have more international choices than only having domestic choices.
....or Sony Stores, or Mexx, or Bombay, or Le Chateau....
