    [article]

(CNN) -- A man's body was found Saturday afternoon inside the landing-gear wheel well of a plane that had landed at a suburban Washington airport, authorities said.

Ground crew assigned to the aircraft -- an Airbus A340 operated by South African Airways -- discovered the body around 1:30 p.m. in a remote parking area of Dulles International Airport, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said in a statement.

Airport police, fire and other personnel went to the scene, joined by FBI agents and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.

The location of the flight's origin was not immediately known.

    Very sad, of course.

Really? If it's a South African Airways aircraft, could the city of origin be all that mysterious? Their IAD service is only JNB-DKR-IAD and return..

As expected, the comments are hysterical. (No offense to the dead guy, of course.)

I don't know if I'd use that word, but some of them were somewhat amusing, if inappropriate.

Yes, the comments were quite interesting - though irreverent, they WERE interesting, and quite funny, given a tragedy.

Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before?
Joey: No sir, I've never been up in a plane before.
Captain Oveur: You ever seen a man in the landing gear? [obviously modified]

Now I know why our flight was late landing.

    tragedy + time = humor

for some the time variable can be very short

I particularly enjoyed the comments wishing the stowaway was Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus or BOTH!
