Mandarin Oriental to Take Over Hotel Ritz in Madrid
thank you god
Belmond shrinks further, I wonder how Belmond wants to grow in the future, beside their announced London Property which opens in 2016. As for the Ritz Hotel in Madrid, we've had visited it for drinks and snacks in the afternoons at their "Hall", a beautiful ornate hotel, but in need of a refreshment and renovation, we haven't stayed there, so we don't know about their rooms, but it felt always grand to us, we would love to actually try this hotel as "real staying guests" in our future. Glad that Mandarin Oriental has taken over this hotel and their investors want actually to bring it to a high modern standard, while respecting the heritage of this luxury hotel.
I just think that Mandarin Orientals an excellent chain and they are showing strategy. Belmond needs to have strategy
Maybe this all depends on their investors, from where the money is coming from, to where the money is going to be invested.
Mandarin Oriental has a strong "parent":
I am just happy Madrid is finally getting some investment
thank god that madrid is now getting a four seasons and mandarin
