Man trolls plane passengers by painting sign on his roof welcoming them to the wrong city
Six foot tall lettering welcomes aeroplane passengers to the city of Cleveland as they touch down in Milwaukee, prompting many to panic that they've boarded the wrong flight.
What a Jackass...
However, we shouldn't forget this:
That sign has been there for years. The first time I saw it, I thought it was funny.
The sign feels like a "confidence trick" to me.
Is not this and any resultant "panic" a reflection on the idiocy of the passengers as opposed to who or whatever the sign says? What if said welcome to Mars?
Now you inspire....someone out there.
As noted above, it's all about "confidence"....
Perhaps this "sign" was designed to welcome the Martians?
I think the story is funny actually. I love a little humor.
And really who wants to be in Cleveland?
True, but is Milwaukee any better?
At least both cities are better than Detroit!
In fact, I believe both cities' motto is "At least we are better than Detroit!".
I think it is funny.
It is not aimed at the pilots and pilots would know better.
Of course pilots would.
Then you have never heard of "Wrong Way" Corrigan! See:
Just hope modern pilots are not as easily lost...
Although there are the rare exceptions e.g.
pilots missed their airport,
pilots mistook industrial park as airport
