I actually do hope it becomes an everyday occurance. It helps point out the absurdity of it all, and also provides some good entertainment. :D

Hilarious for sure, but rather gross. Kinda reminds me of the Hangover movies.

I was at PDX last night and almost got a VDB that would have had me there at the time this happened. Just missed it...

Why can't this happen in a town holding a convention of supermodels seriously concerned about the TSA's infringement on personal rights?

I can see the new cover of the swimsuit edition of Airport World right now. Supermodels getting the enhanced pat-down at a TSA checkpoint and stripping in protest.

Adult Entertainment Expo in Vegas tends to coincide with CES... That wold be the perfect storm: "actors" who aren't shy about dropping their clothing and lots of geeks with cellphones/cameras to capture the event.

I wonder how you know this. Are you an "actor", a "geek", or a just an avid follower of one of the industries? ;)

But you are clearly right - it would be the perfect storm (and quite possibly, a quite marketable "script" )!

I've been to CES (and before that, Comdex) several times. My family always jokes I just use that as an excuse.

(one year, I ventured into the wrong part of the Sands expo ... ;-) Of course, you don't get into the exhibit without the badge, but the lobby was quite interesting by itself)

Something tells me that, considering their line of work, a lot of the people at the Adult Entertainment Expo don't mind the TSA feeling them up. Probably don't mind the scanners, either. :D

Something tells me the TSA guys wouldn't be upset or offended either.

I wouldn't make that assumption. Just because someone had sex on-camera as a job doesn't mean he or she welcomes all forms of personal contact or exposure, regardless of context.

To make this personal, I love swimming at nude beaches, and am not shy about being naked around friends at pool parties, or in public where appropriate. But I detest the scanners (although radiation is a much higher concern fir me) and the groping. It's all about context and free choice. If I choose to do something in one context, that doesn't mean I welcome it when forced.
