That makes absolutely no sense... it's not like you can't SEE him, that's an E135 for crying out loud. Even if you can make the crazy assumption that you can somehow miss somebody on a big plane by mistake, there's no way you can miss someone sitting on their seat on an E135.

An article I read said the cleaners also did not notice him. Does that mean the aircraft was not cleaned? How do you miss somebody sleeping on such a small aircraft? Especially if you're supposed to be checking the seatback pockets, etc.

If I was going to fall asleep and get locked in somewhere, I would much prefer a bar.....

The end result is the FA was rushing to her next trip, failed to do her walk thru before leaving. She has been fired.

I agree that this was the correct action.
What about the cleaners? Does this mean that the A/C was not cleaned?

I guess... maybe if the jet was just going to sit it out after that leg they made the decision to postpone cleaning.

I have no knowledge about whether or not the aircraft was cleaned nor do I know who closed the aircraft door. On the surface it seems that everyone "overlooked" the correct way of securing the plane for the night.
