It's sad isn't it? So much for being a free country......where personal opinion and free speech are appreciated......sounds like the yeah, yeah's......bravo to the man!
I'm surprised how fast Delta reacts and " helps " people feel comfortable again. Yeah, it's all about the t-shirt and free speech.
Ehh I am all for free speech and generally regard the TSA as toolbags but this falls under the Forrest Gump category of "stupid is what stupid does"
Can't wear a T-Shirt with the words "Terrists", "kill" and "bombs", and expect to have smooth sailing on a flight anywhere. Mind you it was Delta not the TSA(ie government) that denied this "free speech".
No sympathy for this episode, although I do have sympathy for his health situation.
I'd rather be naked ...
Someone needs to get Woot to offer the shirt again, then buy every available seat from Buffalo to somewhere on Delta.
Agree completely. Also, if you read the account, the man did not seem very cooperative and that alone would have set off some bells.
this exactly......time and a place and it was neither....
I, for one, would be more concerned about the "poop strong" shirt, not wanting to be near any bathroom that he intended to use on the plane. :-P
This guy was, and is, a moron. He was just looking to cause trouble, and I don't have the least bit of sympathy for him.
