Malaysia accuses Western tourists who stripped on sacred mountain of causing deadly earthquake
Cause and effect?
Although for these tourists to behave so boorishly in a foreign land, perhaps a "tour" of the local jail might be in order?
Back to an original interpretation of "Pounding Sand"?
If so, they are better men than me.
Those "Malaysian officials" are in a hot seat for a good reason. When a measly 5.9 quake kills so many people, one should wonder about their building code violations and enforcement. Perhaps the "sprit of the mountain" was more offended by the official corruption and incompetence than a few random sunbathers.
Gives new meaning to the age-old question "did the earth move?"
