Is anyone going to San Francisco next week for the MacWorld Expo?

I went a few years ago, with the free expo pass, and found it terribly boring. I am sure it's better with a real conference pass where you can attend sessions.

Ever since Apple dropped out from the Expo it's really not what it used to be. I remember when it was held at the Javits Center in NYC - what a scale it was! Now, it's just one hall in the Moscone Center.

Imho, the real days of MacWorldExpo were before it moved to NYC when it was still in Boston. Good times.

I used to go to the SF one, but haven't been in a few years, largely because I get it all day every day at the office.

Same here. In fact in my early days used to donate miles to my MUG group every year to raffle sending someone to either SFO or Boston. Loved both but that was the early 90's.

I also get it in the office all day every day, but won't miss a chance for a trip I can fully expense :)

Not sure, but about 100 various Mac stations to take care of, besides all the other stuff...?

Nah, not the same at all. :)

(I work in Cupertino, as a hint.)

Ah, I see. Any chance to visit the campus? ;) I'd love to have a chat with the marketing team to explain to them a thing or two.

Don't know about marketing, but I'm always happy to help people visit the places it's easy to get visitors to (IL 1, Caffe Macs). :)

I have a limited number of people I can guest in, but I do know other frequent fliers at the company. They are in Cupertino less often than I am, though.
