Any aviation buff knows Lukla is touted as one of the world’s most dangerous airports because it's susceptible to high winds and fast changing weather conditions. Not to mention the airport is built in the side of a mountain leaving no chance of a go around maneuver. I took this trip about a year ago and didn’t think to write about it until I was conversing with a Lufty pilot who became intrigued when I mentioned I’ve been to Lukla. So, I thought I share my experience with the flight for the aviation enthusiasts on this forum. Here’s the picture of a twin otter taking off from the airport. The full trip report of the flight including a video of the take off from the cockpit is on my blog: http://www.thefitworldtraveler.com/lukla-mountain-flight-on-agni-air FYI: I wrote a post since there's a limit on pictures per point. Enjoy!
