I have never used an airline lounge before but I would like to use a lounge in Munich. We will be taking the night train to Munich before our flight home and would love to be able to catch a shower. I will be flying US Airways economy. What would be the easiest way to use a lounge as I don't have status or a credit card that affords this perk?

To use an LH lounge...without status or a biz ticket, you'd need to be guested in. Others, am I missing something? Priority Pass won't get you in to the LH lounge there. But can get in to other lounges.

That's quite possible. There is only so much effort I am wiling to put into free research/googling :). Especially if I am on my iPad with my cellphone hotspot. ;)

Thanks for the suggestions. I especially like the shower/no lounge option. I was even thinking about trying to see if I could "check in" to a cheap hotel or hostel as an option.

Depends on the food in the lounge. 15 for the shower and a nice meal might cost a bit more but it would be worth it since the food on US Air economy is bad.

Other lounges have amazing food in which case it would worth thirty euros.

You could also check to see the cost and if it is possible to just use the health club at the Kempinski Airport Hotel Munich which is attached to the terminal? The health club has a very good pool and showers etc.
