I have a ticket booked SFO-FRA in December which is still showing 744...hopefully the A380 will do well enough that it will become year-round

I've got an FRA-SFO flight booked May 16 in F - seat map changed a few days after the announcement. I'm trying not to get too excited since you never know if the launch date will be delayed... I wish I were booked a few weeks after May 10, and not just 6 days!

At least your one is after start date. Mine is at the end of April. I was excited when I saw the announcement until I realised I just missed out on A380 F.

Sorry for you. A380 in F is a great experience.

The timing of this flight isn't particularly spectacular for me, but I have yet to fly on the A380, and I am interested in *A again now that diamond club is not being withdrawn in favour of M&M. But am I right in thinking that LH took the short-sighted decision to fit the A380s with the wedgie seats?
