    I know the term Euro may not be very popular right now, but personally I think the Eurowings brand would have been better in the long term.

    I use them rarely, but my experience on Germanwings has been decent.

    rwoman- as a LCC it is decent. As a full cost carrier (i.e. they are eliminating Lufthansa flights on many routes and replacing them with Germanwings) it is a very bad change indeed for both employees and customers.

    Ouch. Especially wild they're keeping one class of service. I usually just take BA these days when I go to Germany. ;)

    One class of service.
    No guarantee to be part of *alliance.
    No lounge access outside of Germany.

    Will the "new" carrier be a *A member? Can we book reward flights with them if connecting via LH TATL?
