    On my last phone call to US Airways, I was trying to do Zurich - Montreal - New York (ZRH - YUL - LGA).

    The agent said, "Sir, you cannot backtrack to New York from Montreal." I responded with, "I'm not, Montreal is almost directly north of New York, and is actually a little bit to the east of it. I'm coming from Europe, so it's not backtracking." I eventually had to give up and try another agent.

    Keep in mind, this problem agent was letting me do ICN-BKK-HKG.

    I love the subtle (and not-so subtle) humor Lucky puts into his blog! I am tempted to use him for a USAirways reward booking, just so he can relive the conversation! :D

    not travel related but I once had something I was having shipped to a friend in New Mexico and the customer svc peson taking the order on the phone was insisting they don't ship internationally:eek:. needless to say it required a redial.

    That's hysterical. I also liked the first discussion about the code for Seoul. It reminded me of Take the Money and Run.
