Coming this fall, the company will bring the technology to a new level, offering several pilot programs in select markets. The goal of these programs will be to give customers more ways to save and earn rebates at the pump. The new loyalty card, BP Rewards Card, allows consumers to earn cents-off per gallon when they purchase BP gasoline. Simple registration is all that is required to join this program. The new technology will give consumers a consistent reward for loyalty that will instantly lower the price at the pump! Loyalty Program Keeps Kroger’s Cost From Spoiling Q2 Kroger, the nation’s largest grocery chain, has seen consistent growth for its 35th straight quarter. The company believes this growth is a direct factor of its “customers first” strategy. “Increased customer loyalty and solid cost controls allowed us to grow sales, profitability and shareholder value,” said Kroger CEO, David Dillion. With a vast number of price conscious consumers, grocery stores struggle with the cost to stock shelves. Kroger has successfully unlocked the key to keeps pricing down and capitalizing on customer loyalty. New Airline for SkyTeam Aerolíneas Argentinas joins the SkyTeam Alliance. It is the first South American member of the SkyTeam airline alliance. The alliance allows travelers to earn and redeem loyalty points on the airline’s extensive network across the continent. Customers traveling on SkyTeam’s Go Round the World pass now benefit from even more seamless travel throughout six continents. Aerolíneas Argentinas operates direct flights from Buenos Aires to Sydney, meaning for the first time customers can fly non-stop between South America and Australia as part of a SkyTeam Round the World itinerary. Walgreens Unveils Loyalty Program Walgreen unveiled their loyalty program, Balanced Rewards. The full loyalty program will launch in Walgreens and Duane Reade stores across the country on September 16. Right now, however, the program is in its open enrollment stage. This means that customers who sign up for the program between September 5 through September 16 will be entered for a chance to win the 10 million point giveaway. Customers can earn additional entries into the sweepstakes by referring friends and family. California’s Monarch Beach Golf Links Unveils Crown Club Program Monarch Beach Golf Links recently launched a program tying two popular California sports; golf and stand up paddle boarding. The new loyalty program, called the Crown Club, allows Southern California golfers to receive preferred rates and benefits at Monarch Beach. Monarch Beach Golf Links partnered with Paddle Surf Warehouse.com to give away a stand up paddle board valued at over $1500. “The stand up paddle board has created additional excitement in the golf operation. We have the paddle board displayed in the golf shop, we merchandise around it, and it truly has helped us perpetuate the surf and beach culture that Monarch Beach is known for and really Southern California in general,” said Eric Lohman, General Manager at Monarch Beach Golf Links.
