Hilton Partners with Aeroflot Hilton HHonors, the official loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide’s 10 brands, has recently announced it will partner with Aeroflot Russian Airlines. This partnership will allow customers to earn HHonors points along with air miles for staying at one of their brands. This “double dip” experience is offered with more than 50 airline partners with Hilton. In celebration of this partnership, HHonors members can earn triple miles with Aeroflot Russian Airlines by staying at participating hotels within Hilton Worldwide. Virgin America Launches Major Marketing Campaign Armed with the goal of bringing ‘magic back to travel’, Virgin America launched a major campaign last week to further enhance the brand. With a variation of television, print, social, and outdoor media elements, the campaign hopes to completely overhaul the customer experience during travel. New Xbox Live Rewards Offers Discounts Microsoft will begin offering a “cash back” incentive for users that prove their loyalty through a certain number of in-game achievements. This new Xbox live program is based on users Gamescore values. With only 3,000 points, users will be rewarded with a special gift during their birthday month. Users become eligible for the real rewards after earning 10,000 points. Players at this level will receive a 1% rebate on all Xbox Live Marketplace purchases, and the rebate will be issued monthly. Zipcar CEO Sees Loyalty Program in the Future Zipcar, the company that offers hourly and daily car rentals, said its “pretty likely” to begin offering a loyalty program to heavy users in the next year. Zipcar CEO, Scott Griffith, explained that the loyalty program would be focused on their best members rather than on everyone that uses the product. With increasing competition from Enterprise and Hertz, both leading car rental companies, Zipcar in on the search for ways to find an edge. Frequent users of Zipcar will be rewarded, but furthermore, they will be rewarded for the condition the car is returned in.
