    Wyndham Rewards Introduces New Gift Card with Fall Offer

    Wyndham Rewards, loyalty program to the Wyndham Hotel Group, is offering members the opportunity to earn enough bonus points to redeem for a $25 Wyndham Rewards Visa Prepaid Card. To qualify for this special Fall offer, members have to stay twice at a participating Wyndham Hotel Group property. Members who register for the promotion online at www.wyndhamrewards.com/gc and complete two stays at participating hotel between September 27 and November 26, 2012 will receive 5,500 bonus points. These points are enough to redeem for the $25 Wyndham Rewards Visa Prepaid card. Members who earn airline miles with one of Wyndham Rewards’ nearly 20 airline partners will receive 1,000 bonus miles. The hotel corporation believes this is a great offer for those looking to travel this Fall season.     EBay Plans to Partner with Nectar


    Nectar, the popular British loyalty program, operated by Aimia and celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, awards points to customers of such companies as BP, Ford, Hertz, Sainsbury, and iTunes. Ebay previously had an arrangement with Nectar that awarded members points if they clicked on to eBay through nectar.com. But beginning in October, Nectar cardholders will earn points for all purchases they make on eBay. “Half of all U.K. online shoppers visit eBay each month and this…will keep them coming back to the site more often,” said eBay’s European VP of marketing, Alex Von Schirmeister. It is the first time that the Web retailer has launched a loyalty program for its customers anywhere in the world.

    Holiday and Cub Food Launch Fuel Loyalty Program

    Cub Foods, a grocery store chain, and Holiday Stationstores, a convenience store, have joined forces in the battle against rising gas prices. These two companies will now offer a loyalty program that will reduce the pain at the pump of high gas prices. For every $50 accumulated in qualified purchases as Cub Foods, customers can earn a savings of 5 cents per gallon. The savings can reach as high $1.50 per gallon, and is valid for up to 20 gallons in a single transaction at Holiday Stationstores. Minnesota’s two hometown market leaders plan to increase savings and convenience for their already loyal customers.

    Raley’s Launches Updated Rewards Program

    Raley’s, a grocery family of stores on the west coast, launched a new rewards program on Wednesday. “Something Extra,” is designed to give shoppers a personal shopping experience while saving money. Customers will earn one point per every dollar spent and will be rewarded with quarterly reward vouchers to be used on future purchases.     Loew’s Hotels Offers Expedited TSA Screening


    For the first time ever, a hotel company has teamed with the Department of Homeland Security to offer travelers expedited airport security screening. Loews Hotels and Resorts is offering it’s customer complimentary admission to expedited airport security programs. The offer allows for discounted access to the Trusted Traveler Network’s Global Entry and PreCheck programs. Through November 23, Loews Hotels will waive the $100 Global Entry application fee for YouFirst Platinum loyalty rewards members. “Our collaboration highlights the importance of the public and private sectors working together to improve hospitality for all our guests, whether that be at our hotels or traveling through an airport,” said Jonathan Tisch, Loews Hotels & Resorts chairman.
