I just came back from my first pure MR - 7 segments, 53 hours door-to-door.

I'm sure there are much longer MRs out there - I'm particularly curious about long MRs with no forced overnight layovers.

In a similar topic I posted about a double RTW run I did.

    That included 5 stopovers.

I'm not sure which would be the longest spell flying, but a few years ago I did AKL-SIN-BKK-SIN-EWR-SIN-BKK-SIN-AKL-LAX-SFO without leaving an airport while on the ground (SFO was less than a day before heading back to AKL).

One of my favorite trip 'reporters'! Nobody documents an epic run like he does!

Loved his one around thanksgiving last year and how his family didn't know where he went....it's probably easy to find his saga on the ft site. Better than watching tv.
