with the enzo, you'll still take a long while to get to the east. they dont fight through traffic too well!

Tight squeeze... you're there! St. Paul's Cathedral opposite to Tate Modern. Told you it's the city of smog as the overcast looms over.

    Keep walking!

    Dont run her over!

Past the C-charge zone in no time you'd be in the C-Wharf

How about some old ('70s, scanned slides, low quality, sorry) pictures of "old" Covent Garden?

This is my hangout area in London. Right by Embankment and Villier St. Large Park, plenty of pubs, 3 lines for the tube, and a few minute walk to Trafalgar and Covent Garden. It was also real handy for Waterloo, but that's less important now that the Eurostar has moved..

We liked this pub on one of the famous Walking/Pub tours.

I assume Greenwich is close enough to qualify as "London."

Thank you. For some reason the old Canon G2 I used didn't record the ISO setting but it can't be more than 200. ISO 400 on that camera was far too noisy. But it's a 0.6s exposure at f/2.2 I believe. I was impressed how clear it came out as well. I loved that old camera, I had great luck with long exposures up to a second while hand holding and propping against something to keep steady. Can't say the same for my SLR (admittedly I only have the basic kit lens it came with) or any other point & shoot I've owned.

The first one is not exactly an iconic London picture but it was of some professional interest. The second is more typically London.

Five picture from London and they are not the usual big views. All over the city you can find gems and here are three golden driving ladies on a rooftop.

And then there is the dragons - here is one dragon from Fleet Street
    [IMG]

Fleet Street is mainly a place for barristers these days, but they still need their punch.

The Goat Tavern you will find in Kensington.

It is not only men that fight wars, here is a memorial sculpture in Whitehall honoring the women's effort during World War II.
