    We've mostly very good experiences with London hotels so far. How was yours?

    LOL! Has there EVER been a time when someone looked at the minibar prices anywhere and cried out "Great Value!" :D

  3. In my mind london hotels and london in general are seriously overpriced because the pound is way overvalued. With VAT of 22% and hgh labor costs everything gets ratcheted up. A decen flat in Central London can cost up to 1000 pounds per week and even more if one goes higher end. Nothing is logical there in terms of costs.

    I had a great stay last year at the Apex City of London Hotel near Tower Bridge. Clean, comfortable room, and a very fair price.
