    SMD5 location, maybe? :)

    (Excerpted from the article)
Instead of transforming the 1,066 sq ft interior of the plane to resemble a modern home, Campbell chose to leave a lot of the original equipment intact. He uses the cockpit as a reading room and installed a computer monitor right in the middle of the instrument panel. There is plenty of storage in the cargo hold and the wings serve as a great deck. Even the original water tank and plumbing are used by his clothes washer.

I do believe you meant 727, not 777...

If I had the acreage and the money I would buy a old plane to add to my model plane collection...

Hmm, doesn't look too comfortable. I would've probably set it up to look like an opulent First Class suite, but thats just me.

you can actually rent rooms/entire airplanes for vacation stays. I know there are about 10+ or so listed on Airbnb. everything from a super cramped cessna to a 777. I stayed on one is Sweden last year and it was quite the experience.

Here is a sample of the listings: https://www.airbnb.com/wishlists/airplanes

You can search for "Airplanes" which will generate more results. Quite a few listings for Trains too for you rail-heads out there.

Isn't there a youth hostel somewhere over in Europe made out of a 747?
