Due to some upcoming safaris with very stringent weight and luggage restrictions (22" max size, soft-sided, 44 pounds), I'm in the market for ultralight wheeled duffels with maximum capacity. 4-5 pound weight range, at least 2800 cu in capacity with decent durability for the weight. Wish I could get away from the wheels, but as I'll be slinging a camera bag (with a couple 5-8 pound lenses not to mention the bodies, etc.) and a Scottevest loaded to the max with camera or other similar items to lighten the load, the last thing I want to do is be carrying 44 more pounds as much as possible. Has anyone checked out the new Lipault Luggage from Magellans? Open to any suggestions!
