An art exhibition featuring classic Levi Strauss adverts has opened at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

The new exhibition, based at the SFO Museum in Terminal 3, showcases examples of promotional imagery from the San Francisco company’s archives.

SFO Museum was established by the Airport Commission in 1980 to provide a glimpse of the unique cultural life of San Francisco to passengers.

It was granted initial accreditation from the American Association of Museums in 1999 is the only accredited museum in an airport in the US.

SFO Museum features around 20 galleries throughout the airports terminals.
