Hw long will it take at 10:30a on a Tuesday for a transfer from one international flight to another?
Depends on which terminals you fly into and out of. TBIT (Tom Bradley International Terminal) can be a bit crowded arriving at 10.30am, so if you've got Global Entry it will be a huge help.
If you have to leave TBIT (for instance, Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air China, Air France, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, KLM, TACA / Avianca / LACSA, and Virgin Atlantic all fly out of Terminal 2), then some international flights go out of connected terminals . For instance, Terminal 6 is connected to Terminal 7 and you don't have to exit security. The security lines can be a nightmare at 10.30am (Terminal 5 is often horrible), so if you can avoid them all the better. You can find maps here: http://www.lawa.org/welcome_lax.aspx?id=256
I was just about to add they are both UA flights, so it seems like they will both be out of T7.
It'll really depend on how long it takes you to clear customs. As wombat18 stated, Global Entry would help a great deal.
