So my wife and I are expecting our second baby in November.

Right now when we want to go away my parents babysit our 17 month old...We've been to Miami twice and loved it. So we'd like one more trip before the baby comes so we're looking to go somewhere in mid-late august.

I have points in most programs so that's not a concern. We're debating going to Miami again and we know it should be a winner or explore the unknown? LA? Canada? Europe for 5 days?

I'd love feedback on what could be our last trip in a loooooooong time... :)

Europe for 5 days! Did it this spring while we left kids with grandma. Was totally fulfilling even though it was short!

I vote for Paris. Best news is you won't get pregnant again! And congratulations on the new baby. It just gets better and better!

Congrats! I love Miami as well. One of my fav in the world. But you know what I love more? Exploring a new place I haven't seen before. I know Miami will always be there...

Went to Warsaw (my wife's choice). Had an amazing time. We were in-country for 4 nights. (Note: it may have helped that we flew LH F on the inbound, and LH J home) :)

    re Miami

If y'all enjoy hot and humid weather, and are willing to assume the risk of confronting a monster that may appear on relatively short notice, then I say go for it.

Paris is a great choice. If you want to stay closer, Seattle or Vancouver are nice cities at that time of the year.

I'd go somewhere you may not return to as easily +2. Paris and Europe fit that perfectly. I'm also partial to Hawaii as it is easily enjoyed pregnant.

Congrats and thumbs up for a getaway before #2 arrives!

Echo what MommyPoints says. Cross something off your list that's harder to do with kids. Or, focus on a city you might bring your children back to but do things they won't enjoy for quite some time (museums, etc). I'm always in favor of crossing a new city off my list.
