  1. [IMG]Are you going to be in Las Vegas for Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 8? More importantly, will your mom be in Vegas on Sunday? If so, here are some last-minute suggestions on making the most out of your day to honor Mom:
    • If you haven’t already made reservations, do so immediately. Have a few options–your first choice may be booked.
    • Plan for crowds. Budget extra time around whatever activity you have planned. Valet parking may be full, and restaurants may have lines, especially at brunch.
    • Speaking of brunch, if you feel like splurging, try Bally’s Sterling Brunch. It’s expensive, but it includes caviar, sushi, rack of lamb, lobster, and champagne.
    • Ask Mom what she wants to do. You may be thinking brunch, but she may be thinking pole dancing class.
    • You don’t have to have brunch—there’s always lunch or dinner. Almost every Las Vegas restaurant is offering specials for meals throughout the day on Sunday. If eating out sounds like a good plan, call now to make reservations.
    • Moms deserve a break on Sunday, and a spa treatment is definitely a respite from the world. Canyon Ranch at the Venetian is an acclaimed spa that offers co-ed and single-gender environments. Services include deep tissue and stone massage, reflexology, Shiatsu, and Reiki.

    • Looking for some first-class shopping? Crystals at City Center is home to retailers like Cartier, Dior, Gucci, Tiffany, and Versace.

    • If you want to take Mom to see Celine Dion’s show at Caesars Palace, I hope you made reservations a few months ago. If not, Las Vegas still has plenty of on-stage entertainment, including the Excalibur’s Thunder From Down Under—for moms who are more into biceps than brunch.
