I've been scrolling through games on Steam trying to find something to play on the long international flights on my Lenovo ThinkPad. I'm currently considering downloading Banished (http://store.steampowered.com/app/242920/) in lieu of Civilization 5 (which seems a bit too complicated for me).

Mrs. Garp accuses me of posting EVERYTHING on Milepoint ("honey, we just had sex, but do me a favor, and don't post it on Milepoint, ok?"), and in this case ... she's right. So let me ask: what games do you like to play on your laptop when you're flying?

    Stink pad, fail.

Use your eye pad. Or your I telephone.

As you well know, I left my iPad on an airplane after a 10 hour flight and never recovered it.

I play a few games on my iPhone, my favorite of which is "7 Little Words".

I swear to God, I'm going to take your pre-check card and slice it in half with those awesome tree-limb cutters we bought yesterday.

    Love you!

So many games, so little time. Do you prefer FPS, building games, kill the monster games, racing games? Minecraft is very addictive and easy to play if you like building and also fighting and breeding bizzare creatures like fairy horses (cross between flying horse and a unicorn)

My favorite games require character building through stats/items, and classic dungeon crawls.

Doesn't Mrs Garp like to talk on planes?

Just find an old game, Civ2 or Starcraft should do the trick.

Try FTL! It's very well acclaimed and you can pick it up for fairly cheap (>$5) during steam sales. Alternatively check out Telltale's Walking Dead series if you're in the more storytelling mood. They don't require a mouse and spec requirements aren't high.
