Another eccentricity of LAN's website (already labeled as a royal POS by yours truly) is that it fails to display the correct amount of kilometers in your account..... you actually have to dig deep to find them... they are there, but they just dont appear in the proper places. Case in point is my better half's account. Her main FF account used to be American... but I signed her up for LAN so we could cash in on all the Jumbo Points we rack up with our shopping there... so last year (2011) I requested two kilometer exchanges, one for 70,000 and one for 80,000. When I log into her account, the website reads her total number of kilometers available as zero..... yes, zippo. But if I scroll up to the right hand side of the title page.... her real balance of 150,000 kilometers is listed. I guess LAN's genius programmers somehow dont consider non-flight miles as important or whatever..... for a moment my wife thought that perhaps those kilometers had expired... and that is no small amount considering we should be able to get two return tickets to the US with them..... Ive now just in case printed out screen shots of her account... again, I cant find a proper link to create a decently formatted version of her account balance and activity.... of course, I guess LAN doesnt want you to keep proper records in case one would have another reclamo, or...???
