According to a recent community meeting:
-Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay will close from June to October, 2015 for renovations.
-The Lodge at Koele will serve as lodging for construction workers from the beginning of 2015 through late 2015 and will not accept reservations for rooms or dining throughout that time.
-The renovations will result in 3 new restaurants, One Forty, Views and Nobu Lanai, redesigned guestrooms and suites, high-end retail stores, and a renovated clubhouse and spa.
-The upgrade includes renovating the entire pool area to include a central pool with two raised spas, adding a family pool with a beach sand bottom pool, as well as a serenity pool with two swim-up spas and one raised spa, two pool bar and burger shacks, 11 cabanas and a beach sand terrace, according to a source who attended the meeting.
-A particularly laudatory note: no employees will be laid off during the renovations.

I hope nobody is stuck already having planned to go there, but it is enough in advance that people should be able to change their hotels. I am glad they aren't laying off their employees because that would be very hard for their employees to make ends meet in that time.
