Does anyone here know if on the intra-South America flights on the narrowbodies, if the full Duty Free cart is available? I haven't flown on a non-widebody between countries in several years (and not at all since the front cabin was replaced with premium economy).

This may be too late, but yes, I have had duty-free options on my A318, A319 and A320 flights SCL-AEP, and SCL-MVD. Not SCL-MDZ, though! ;)

The question is... what does LAN sell on board that would be worth purchasing....?

Almost nothing, though I bought a decent watch on a SCL-EZE flight s while back.

The JW Scotch collection makes a nice gift. 4 20cl bottles - Black, Green, Gold and Blue. Nice box.
I just checked the current catalog. Maybe not worth purchasing anymore. Now US$111 - up from $100 in June.

That does make a nice gift..... I guess you would have to compare that value to SFO and SCL street prices... in EZE, that prices is almost US$200 !!

The Duty Free price @ SCL was similar to the current onboard price. However, I'm rarely in a position to buy duty free liquids at either SCL or EZE.

My recent experience is to always wait until EZE for airport duty free...I noticed that cigarettes in SCL dufy free are almost double the price in EZE.

My experience has been that when I pass through both SCL and EZE, I notice that I don't smoke. :p

Me, too - ever since moving to Chile I've been very much aware of it - almost as much as in Spain. Nowhere did I say that they were for me! ;)

Yes... smokes are cheap in Argentina, and that is a horrible thing... I say triple the taxes on that garbage and make them EU priced...
