We will be flying back to the US from LIM in LAN Business Class. Does the lounge have showers for guests to use? We are coming back from Puerto Maldonado so we would like to get cleaned up before our night flight home.

LAN uses the SUMAQ (shared) lounge - there are two shared lounges, down the same hallway - SUMAQ and VIP CLUB. SUMAQ is first, on the left. There are two shower suites. Very simple (not like one of the grand arrival suite lounges) but it serves its purpose.

Thanks for the info. How do you get access to the VIP CLUB?

Some airlines contract with the SUMAQ, others w/VIP. I've never been in VIP although they are both Priority Club-affiliated, so I suppose I could peek in the other one of these days. [If you are unfamiliar with travels in South America, most people will call any airport lounge a "Salon VIP" (pronounced veeep) and it doesn't mean it is any more or less special than any airport lounge you may be familiar with.

You can purchase access to the VIP Club on site (cost about $50?)
