KrisFlyer Redemptions without Fuel Surcharges?

    Presumably SQ doesn't assess fuel surcharges on Star Alliance awards if the operating airline doesn't charge them. For example, flying within the U.S. Are there other airlines or geographic regions where no fuel surcharges are assessed, or they're very low?

    There is no fuel surcharge on SK but on the other hand I'm not sure anyone would like to fly SK if they are used to SQ. ;)
