Posted a question a while back regarding kiosk upgrades and priority seat assignments. Just some FYI from a recent lga-dfw flight: I have no status but was able to book a "priority seat" online 36 hours before the flight. I also was offered a $125 kiosk upgrade (which i used and then was reimbursed via new Amex Plat service) so it worked out great. I just wanted to share my recent experience because I know there was some confusion regarding the seat assignments reserved for status.
Amex Plat card reimburses up to $200 per year of miscellaneous airline charges, like baggage fees, etc. People have reported successfully getting purchased stickers reimbursed. Now we have a report of getting kiosk upgrade fees reimbursed.
