The same advice to any fool that checks bags: If you have really valuable items, carry them, don't check them. Sorry, no sympathy for this train wreck.

I am pretty sure that any airline reading these responses would come to the rightful conclusion that, yep, no need to do jack about luggage security. The infrequent flyers won't change anything and the frequent flyers are either "smart" enough to not get into the situation or too cynical to give a rats tail about others in the situation. And it can count as untaxed bonus to the workforce too!

You mean a pilot for a brand new Kardashian reality show? :p Maybe BA wanted to create the first "straight to airline entertainment system television series" before Richard Branson could get his grubby hands on it.

I smell a publicity stunt here by Kim.

If she lost all of her luggage, I would not feel sorry for her. Most people who truly contribute to society will never earn the income she receives for having a good publicist and promoting herself. When she finds a cure for cancer, or travels the world to help aids victims, I may find some usefulness in her existance.

How self-righteous! Have you done such, or, in fact, has any of us?

I'm thinking that everything this woman does is a publicity stunt. I mean, if it wasn't for that sex tape, or the fact that she's Bruce Jenner's stepdaughter, no one would know who the hell she is.

Speaking of Bruce Jenner, I feel sorry for him. He's the only one in that family with a legitimate claim to fame.

That's an impressive amount of venom for a person you don't know personally over a subject of... lost luggage?!

    Horribly disappointing thread.

Sorry that you are disappointed, but although she certainly is not a friend, I do know her and have the misfortune of seeing her frequently as we live close to each other. I have the greatest respect for her stepfather who worked hard for his success. I have little use of anyone who lives solely off of a name, be it their's or their families.

Yes, fascinating, yet irrelevant. When you see her, I am guessing she spits in your face every time, hence the misfortune, right? That's the only reasonable explanation for the inexplicable amount of animosity you got there.

Let me just write up a little example of a human response that would actually be relevant to the topic and the forum, yet (if you have to) still convey one's feelings on the person involved in at least some sort of human form.

"Well, that Kim K. vying for attention again! Just like her, making sure not even a minor event goes unnoticed! Should serve as a lesson to everyone to keep their valuables in their carry-on or at home, too. And hopefully, with all the attention she tries to get, this will put a spotlight on the unfortunate reality of airport thefts and that they can affect anyone, regardless of their status or how (in)famous they are."

There, feel free to use it as a framework for the future.

The wonderful thing about this great country is that we all have the right to express our opinions. While I disagree with you, I certainly respect your opinion and I'm glad you chose to state how you feel.

I applaud you and give you thumbs up. Although it is a time honored tradition in this country, it still takes guts to disagree with being civil.
