KE: continuing disquiet among the aircrew community about safety culture

    Relevant to DL SM because of the number of SM members who redeem on partner KE.

    KE had a very poor reputation for numerous hull losses prior to the initial code-share agreement with DL in 2000. DL assisted in conducting a safety audit prior to signing the agreement. New CRM procedures were supposed to be institutionalized.

    However, it seems that not all this glasnost and perestroika has taken root. The experiences of a number of foreign aircrew working commuting contracts there are concerning:
