Weather in DFW. That's hosed our inbound for ATL-DFW, but the DFW-AUS is running late, too, so I might actually make it home... at 2:15 AM (by the time I get the car and drive home).

    AA1139, ATL-DFW, scheduled 8:30/9:55, now 10:13p/11:40p.

    to the thankfully also delayed

    AA513, DFW-AUS, scheduled earlier, now 12:30a/1:25a.

Ouch! Hate weather delays at DFW... I fly through there about 15 times a year and have had my share of them... Admirals Club?

Still in ATL. In the AC, which they're holding open late while they close... at least until our plane lands at 9:15.

guess I should read these posts a little more slowly... weather delays anywhere suck!

Plane is here. There are less than a dozen of us left here to get on it... others were going to get stranded in DFW and opted for reaccom/standby tomorrow morning.

Wonder if weight and balance will let them just sit everyone up front? :)

I just made it out myself - ironically, because the weather delayed the earlier DFW>BWI flight, is able to standby and make it home earlier than expected.

    Good luck!

There were 76 on the standby list for the AUS flight last night - It finally left at 1230. Not the worst I've seen, though. That was 126 on the list.

76? That's crazy! Can't even imagine 126 waiting around the gate...

I've seen 100+ standby in Chicago a few times.

When I lived in Austin years ago I was flying ATL-DFW-AUS and weather in DFW caused us to divert to ... AUS! Fortunately they let me get off there :)

@LGA I have seen the standby list at least 8+ pages long during weather issues. Not a pretty site.

My husband was on that flight. Apparently # 49 on the wait list (as Gold) but he got on somehow.

    *bump*

I write this from the ground at ONT. I'm supposed to be in LAX, connecting to LAS.

Connection is rebooked. Waiting on the fog to lift above the minimums at LAX.

I am NOT having good weather luck this year. Not that that's American's fault...

And the screwups continue. While I made my original connection, which was also delayed, I was apparently rebooked and lost my upgrade when they put me back on the original flight. I don't care much on an hour flight, but these screwups are becoming all too common this year.
