That'll be the first flight to cancel when weather or ATC delays crop up...I wonder how long until it goes to being a bus like ABE-EWR.

Sent from my SM-G900P using InsideFlyer mobile app

That's going to be some interesting pricing per mile (and minute).

$207 each way SFO - STS in February for a six day trip.
But then as low as $140 Las Vegas, NV, US → Santa Rosa, CA, US in February for a six day trip.

Once upon a time there were regularly scheduled commercial flights by legacy USA carriers between SFO and OAK using jet aircraft, some even widebody. IIRC the distance was about fifteen miles and the scheduled flight time was ten minutes.

I flew SNA-LAX many times....occasionally on a mainline jet but more often than not on a turboprop. (forget the type) Similarly to the LAS-STR fare posted above, the SNA-LAX fare was very high, but using this as a connection, the incremental fare was quite reasonable. Plus, back in that day, you got the 500 mile minimum plus the elite bonus.

Reminds me of the Northwest flights DTW--FNT & DTW--TOL, which DL stopped flying sometime after the merger.

Without going back and checking, that price seems pretty similar to the STS-LAX flight I took a few months ago on Horizon/AS. Reasonably consistent with O/D to a hub, I'd say.
