It really boils down to how much they need the seats....greater need equals more $$ offered...

$300 is okay, I usually take nothing under $400.

$300 plus upgrade sounds good to me. Have them give you club access for the wait. JFK to SFO is the best business seat DELTA offers. Usually just 4 rows of F on a transcon 757 instead of the usual Domestically configured 6 or 7..

It is principally based on supply and demand. Are there other people queuing up to surrender their seats?

If your end destination is SFO, and they're offering you nonstop J, I'd hit that on the wire, regardless of the compensation. If you then need to backtrack to SLC from SFO, J to SFO plus $300 sounds like fair compensation, assuming you have the time.

If you already volunteered, your not getting to $400 (unless your DM/PM). Take the $300 and the J seat. Just a reminder that the voucher can only be used by the person who it is made out to. You can no longer transfer them!!

And was told the delta employee did Mott show up
As was anticipated and so sadly sat behind a
Screaming child who was out of control
    Oh well maybe next time!!!!
    My return is
Sfo to lax and lax to JFK
    A girl can hope!
