Washington Post: Senator seeks to allow goose kills near NY airport
Canada geese are a problem....even in Canada.
I sense a 'feed the hungry' program coming!
Are there any left in Canada? There are so many permanent resident geese here in the Bay Area that I sometimes wonder if they have all moved here because of the nice weather. Can't blame them if that was the case
Just came across seven little goslings with their parents the other day. Awfully cute, and US "citizens" given that they we're hatched here in CA.
These geese caused a eight-mile traffic backup on I-71 South Wednesday. Here, a person tries to help the geese across the highway.
Eight miles? Two geese? I fairly regularly have to stop for geese crossings near work. I often (when traffic allows) get out of the car and chase them off the road (pretty easy). Just run in their general direction and they'll usually take flight.
