JFK-MAD Advice on trying to reduce my YQ?

  1. Hi All,

Have been reading the MP forums for quite awhile and have found a base fare that I think will work for me (JFK-MAD). I have tried and tried and tried to find a useful 3x to drop my YQ down. Came close with NAS, dropping YQ down about $200, but am still looking to go all the way. I have put in weeks of work, and am not looking to freeload, but does anyone have any tips they could offer to help me find a better 3X? Help send me on my first trip to Europe. Much thanks.

Here is what I'm looking at:

    adam0302,

    Welcome to MP!

The only question I'd have is what the cost of tickets to NAS in order to initiate this itinerary?

    YQ is evil.

    ;)

  4. Hey Robin,

Thanks for the reply. It's nice to get a kind response. The 3x ticket to NAS was $99. It dropped the overall YQ from $420 to $198, so factoring in an extra $99 for the third leg, an actual savings of $122 overall.

Seeing as this thread was getting off-topic, I've rearranged it so that those with some advice and a helpful hand at the keyboard can try to assist. As well, I have edited the thread title which was previously "I am not a lurker!!' to something more identifiable to the question. Hopefully this will help. Thanks in advance for those being helpful on milepoint.

  6. Thanks Randy!
