Bay Area Gamblers rejoice! Today, JetBlue launched service from SFO to LAS and that means two flights daily will now head to Vegas non-stop for all the blackjack, showgirls, and Alaskan snow crab legs you can handle. All of the standard JetBlue amenities (free snacks, drinks, and wi-fi) apply and the aircraft will be the 150-seat Airbus A320. Here’s the schedule: LAS – SFO SFO – LAS 7:00 a.m. – 8:40 a.m. 9:25 a.m. – 11:01 a.m. 12:50 p.m. – 2:31 p.m. 12:45 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. Those flights are barely over an hour and a half, which means you can take a half-day at work on Friday, climb on the 12:45pm flight out to Sin City, blow your 401k on craps, and be back in a puddle of tears by 8:40am the next morning. Awesome! Conversely, you can also gorge yourself on cheap prime rib, take in a Cirque show, dance your ass off to Bruno Mars in da club, and be back with a giant smile on your face — it’s your Vegas trip, pal, do with it what you will. To make this new development even better, JetBlue is offering $59 fares each way from January 19 – April 30, 2015, but you have to book by January 11th.
