During those 6 hours of downtime, I think I refreshed 60+ times...
I hear ya! Me as well!
Don't worry, we are currently scheduling support group meetings for tonight in all time zones. Though maybe we can hope for some apology points
I'm pretty sure I beat you on this one!!!! Lucky i had been on this morning around 5 a.m. when it was up and got a few posts in before the sudden disappearing act.
Nothing like a partial fix before full withdrawal
I just had the page open in a tab loading in Firefox all morning. Just watched the little dots go round and round for hours - somewhat hypnotizing.
That's all? I think I almost broke my refresh.
The site being down made me realize how much more I like it here. Things such as having conversations instead of that antiquated messaging system I had to use someplace else . Big relief to wake up from my nap and find this place up again.
MP support do...?
Though sometimes that makes the symptoms worse, since you remembered how good it is
It was a long nap - we were really down 45 years !
I think that is a part of Randy's world tour, just adding a special session for milepoint addicts and how to deal with what happens during maintenance or when Amazon messes up
I had to convince myself not to click anymore and limit it to one every 10-15 minutes...
At least we have not reached the Y2K69 bug when all old pieces of software crash like they were supposed to for Y2K
I had to take a nap because I couldn't stand the wait. You're right, it felt like forever.
Couldn't go cold turkey...weak...
You were supposed to be refreshing constantly, pushing your computer to the limit
Better yet, build a program to do it for me.
Stop thinking logically, you know that logic is banned from any and all online discussions
I actually set up a program on my BB to continually try to open MP. Upon being successful it automatically signed me in and activated my "We are the Champions" ring tone.
Put me on the list for those suffering MP withdrawal and now needing some counseling!! Wow, not a pretty picture, atl all!!
I got up to date with all the episodes of Celebrity Probation while Amazon's Cloud was down.
My name is MSPeconomist and.....
*all in unison* "Hi MSPeconomist!"
