Since they pride on customer service, I would think that they rank the highest for this category. That being said, I'm a huge Southwest fan, so I'm glad to see them on top. Hope they keep it up!

As am I! I've been an elite with WN for the past 10 years. Their system works well, there's no hassle changing or cancelling flights, "bags fly free", and you don't get killed with their airfares. O.K., there's no first class, a seemingly Big Deal among certain folks. IMHO, the friendliness of their staff almost makes up for that! You go, WN! :)

There's something to be said for that!

I've never flown them as their routes in the NE are minimal. Do they have added legroom seats?

I fly their routes in the NE all the time! Depending upon the plane configuration, there are additional legroom seats in the exit row(s). Which, of course, a number of folks prefer, so availability is limited. Which is why it's good to board the plane early (as their elites do), and also WN charges an add-on fee if you "need" to do just that, ahead of their elites. For short haul flights, the general seating is adequate, not great (I'm 6'5").
